Pedro Travassos is a Portuguese product designer who focuses on shaping objects around their essence, keeping them silently beautiful and familiar.
With background in product design, he has always valued learning through experience and the act of making. This belief led him to explore different internships in areas such as packaging and furniture design, as a way to test ideas, experiment with processes, meet people and grow through practice. For his master’s degree he moved to Copenhagen, where he immersed himself in Scandinavian design culture and joined Normann Copenhagen, an experience that helped refine his sense of clarity and function.
He is now working as a freelance designer for Karim Rashid Studio while developing his own projects. His practice gravitates toward furniture, lighting, and small objects, exploring how minimalism can carry character and how simplicity can reveal a quiet twist.
